Hollow City is the second book in the Mrs.Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children trilogy by Ransom Riggs.
I could barely put this book down. This is one of those books that when you start reading you don’t realise that you’ve been reading for hours! I was literally lying on the floor in front of the fire and just read, read and read.
I know this trilogy is technically for ‘young adults’ but I (at 23) love them! I’m extremely excited for the film to come out and I can’t wait to finish the whole trilogy. I do realise that I will have a hole in me again in the shape of these books.
I seem to always gets these holes in my life when I finish a book but then again I always feel like I’ve lived another life and learned a whole new lifetime of experiences and a whole lifetime of knowledge.
These books I have to admit are good fun for adults and amazing for children in – my opinion. They are full of unexpected twists and events. They are funny and sad all at the same time.
I know I already wrote about this book but I can’t say it enough, this trilogy is amazing and a true insight into ‘peculiar’ children.
If you want to get into the trilogy here‘s the link.
